The Design seeks to reinforce the image of Jabalpur as Sanskardhani- meaning Cultural Centreplace.
The convention centre is envisaged not just as an icon for the smart city, but alsoas a Place for the People of Jabalpur. We consider this to be the basis of our Concept and vital to give back to the city and its people.The iconic Beda ghat with its tumbled marble and greenery form the theme for the tectonics of the iconic City Centre complex

The program includes exhibitions, conventions, auditoria, performance spaces, hospitality, with supporting retail, recreation and a podium and public plaza. We foresee this campus to be part of the Civic Centre of the city, a place that espouses its cultural values and ethos. We expect it to be self-sustaining while being inclusive of all strata of society.

We have ensured the Smart City featuresin improving the quality of life of the people, pedestrian friendlinessincluding a transit stop along the arcade; sustainability aspects, ensuring an axis to the GhantaGhar,. Features like the arcade can become part of the overall Urban Design strategy for the city- a methodology to create a cohesive image for the twenty first century for Jabalpur.
